Next Club Meeting: April 20, 2024, at the Fountaindale Public Library in Bolingbrook from 11:00 am - 5:00 pm

The Animatrix Network is an anime & manga fan club located in the Southwest suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. We usually meet on the third Saturday of each month (except when holidays or conventions coincide). The meetings are free and open to the public. Join us for a day filled with anime.

This site provides news, reviews, commentaries, and previews of the world of anime and everything it inspires, such as live-action films, comics, music, art, and other weird things to enjoy and contemplate.

Happy Anniversary, Animatrix Network!

Today, we celebrate the 15th year of our anime club! We've been around since 1995, longer than many other Chicago anime fan organizations. We'd like to thank all of our members for their support and participation over the past decade and a half. The Animatrix Network has contributed much to the fan community in and around Chicago. Our club members helped start the first Anime Central back in 1998 by volunteering their time and energy as staffers. Many of our members were part of ACen's Guest Relations department and personally assisted some of the most popular anime/manga artists from Japan such as Kenichi Sonoda, Tsukasa Kotobuki, Yuji Moriyama, and yoshitoshi ABe (just to name a few). The club has been a pioneering force in the Midwest and we welcome new members each day.

Here's to everyone who has ever been a part of this great organization. We couldn't do it without you.

Happy Anniversary, Animatrix Network! Hope to see many more in the years to come.
